I know sweaty isn’t the adjective that usually pops into your head when you think of Saturdays, but that’s usually what happens during the summer. Am I right? Think about what your Saturdays are usually filled with. You’re mostly going to spend it outside, doing activities you couldn’t do the 5 days before. You might be doing yardwork, or playing some volleyball at the beach. In this case, you’d probably end up raving after listening to this final playlist of mine. I’ll be releasing the full playlist soon, but for the time being enjoy the last of the batch:
I could’ve gone in plenty of directions with the advective for Friday here, but I decided to keep it simple. Honestly, you can replace the word on your own with anything you feel is more appropriate, because Friday comes accompanied by a wealth of different emotions. Most of the time though, it’s a sense of elation that the weekend is finally here. Hmm, maybe I should’ve made it “Finally Friday.” I guess I’ll keep that in mind for next time…
What’s up guys? I thought I’d greet you this morning with some of the grittier sounds of summer. This is the type of music you listen to when you’re sitting back in the driver’s seat and trying to get hyped up even though you’re stuck at a standstill in traffic. At least you can still feel like a true gangsta though when you have your bass turned up all the way.

What makes Wednesday wicked you might ask? Well, it’s the fact that it’s right smack dab in the middle of the week, teasing you that the weekend isn’t quite here yet. It does however signal that you’re halfway done with the week, and it’s only a matter of time before you get there. In the meantime though, just sit back, relax, and let Wednesday do its thing.

Tuesdays are one of those days that seem to have no meaning. They’re not important enough to be hated like Mondays, but they don’t represent anything significant either. They’re a reminder that you’re still further from the weekend than you are closer. Because Tuesdays are considered “boring,” I decided to turn them into a day of reflection. Take a listen to some of the songs below and maybe you can reflect on some memories…or you might just fall asleep and get sunburnt because you forgot to put on your sun screen beforehand. Either way, I hope you enjoy!

Mellifluous? That’s probably the first question that pops into your head when you see the title. You see, I had to rummage in the dictionary through hundreds of different adjectives that would make Mondays sound way more pleasant than they actually are. That was also the goal of my playlist; I wanted to breathe some life into “Mundane Mondays” (that was just one of the titles I decided against). Once you take a listen through the playlist, you’ll know exactly what mellifluous means (you could also use a dictionary, but that’s no fun).

So, as you may remember, I posted a little something about my upcoming summer mixtape series about a month ago. Well, it’s finally here! I apologize for the recent inactivity, but I’ve been working hard to refine this amazing playlist, and I’m sure you’ll all enjoy what I’ve put together. It’s over 200 tracks of pure summer, from the highs down to the lows. Instead of dropping it all on you at once though, I’m going to be rolling out a daily special until the end of next week, with a different “mood” associated with each day. Some songs may seem out of place, but for the most part, I think it flows pretty well, while sprinkling some surprises in here and there.
The first part of the series is already a little late (especially for those of you on the East Coast), but I promise the rest of the week’s entries will be released in a timely manner. So without further ado, check out the intro portion of the mixtape with the “Sunday Sunrise” playlist:
